Modular Flexibility

Three Sizes. Many Possibilites.

Both inside and out, Cubhouse is made up of modules, or sections, that can be assembled in a variety of ways. It comes in three sizes, which determine the number of cubs (small rooms) that can be added. Cubs are 84.5 square feet (7.85 square meters) and are interchangeable. Each unit comes standard with combined kitchen and bathroom cubs, which together cover an area of just under 100 square feet (just over 9 square meters). The largest Cubhouse model has space for up to five additional cubs, the middle for three, and the smallest for one.

All models have the following:

  • floor to ceiling cabinets with rolling ladders to reach them
  • triple glazed windows and exterior doors with integrated shades
  • rolled rubber flooring
  • porcelain slab counter tops and bathroom fittings
  • the most energy efficient and water-saving appliances available, including dishwasher, microwave, extractor fan, oven with induction cook top, washer and dryer
  • advanced vacuum toilets
  • recessed LED lighting
  • solid, trim-free interior doors with hidden jams
  • noise-reducing, well-insulated interior walls
  • easy-access wall service cavity
  • solar and/or wind generated electricity
  • rainwater harvesting system, grey water system, water storage
  • screw-pile foundations
  • zinc exterior cladding

Cubhouse 1 (CH1)

Cubhouse 1 is the smallest model at just 242 square feet (22.5 m2). Unlike the other two models, Cubhouse 1 has a hybrid snug-sleeping cub, which makes full use of the additional  14 square feet of space. It is perfect for one person or a couple. Click on one of the images below to see more.

Cubhouse 2 (CH2)

Cubhouse 2 has an internal area of 456 square feet (42.5 m2) and space for up to three additional cubs. It’s perfect for 1 person or a couple, but also offers enough space for two roommates, or a family of up to 4. Click on the image rows below to see two possible configurations.

Cubhouse 3 (CH3)

Cubhouse 3 is the largest model, with an internal area of 670.4 square feet (62.28 m2). Besides the kitchen and bath cubs, it has slots for an additional 5 cubs. An additional 14.5 square feet is available between two of the cubs, which, depending on configuration, can be left empty or used to extend existing cubs. It very comfortably houses a family of four, two single roommates or two couples, but can also be configured to accommodate a family of five or even six.
